Between 23.04.2026 and 30.06.2026, an International Invited Online Mixed Exhibition will be organized under the theme of “CHILD” by the Child Education Application and Research Center within Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University.
Childhood is a multi-layered concept directly related to identity formation, social memory, cultural transmission, and the imagination of the future, beyond innocence, imagination, and the sense of discovery. This exhibition invites us to think about the theme of “child” not only as a biological or age-based category but also in conjunction with concepts such as hope, fragility, play, learning, rights, memory, and transformation. This gathering, centered on the transformative power of art, aims to make visible individual and collective experiences, critical approaches, and creative interpretations related to childhood.
Productions from all fields of art are open for evaluation within the theme. In this context:
- Plastic art works such as painting, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, graphic design, illustration, and photography,
- Video art, new media, digital productions,
- Installations and site-specific arrangements,
- Performance, interdisciplinary and experimental works,
- Contemporary art practices addressing the concept of “child” in the context of children's rights, education, play culture, memory, migration, ecology, technology, or social transformation are invited for evaluation.
Artwork applications will be made through the relevant application form, and results will be communicated via email.
