Within the scope of the “Village University” project conducted by Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, the first Children's University Workshops of our center were held in Kayaaltı Village.
55 children from Kayaaltı Village Primary School participated in the event. Workshop activities were conducted with the children on themes of technology, educational games, philosophy for children, art, and design. Thanks to these workshops, which attracted great interest from the children, the learning process turned into a fun and exploratory experience.
We thank the Burdur Provincial Public Library for contributing to the event by bringing a mobile library vehicle to the school, connecting children with books, and providing opportunities for children to explore space with the mobile planetarium. These contributions, which nurture children's curiosity and imagination, are greatly appreciated.
This first event held within the scope of the Village University project increases children's interest in learning and creates equal opportunities in village schools.
